Digital Creator Courses

The Digital Creator Award (BCS) is designed to meet the needs of people who want to make the most of digital media to gain a recognised qualification. Learning Central offers courses to trainers, experienced teachers, lecturers and learners, each tailored to their own requirements.





Digital Creator Level 2- Train the Trainers (2 days)

Learn how to get the most from the Digital Creator courseware with this 2 day course (2 weeks between sessions). The course covers the essential elements from each of the Units to enable you to implement the Digital Creator qualification effectively with your students. The first session provides you with the opportunity to explore each of the ‘Creative’ units, with an opportunity to develop your own digital media. The second session, 2 weeks after Session 1 covers the ‘Sharing’ units and handles issues relating to course implementation, portfolio submission and assessment.


Courses are available for teachers and tutors with some experience of digital media and ICT.

Course pricing:

  1. Bullet  2 day (non consecutive) course in your school or college (10 persons max.) - £635 per day

  2. Bullet  Delegate rate for attendance at one our training centres     - £115 per person per day

    Digital Creator Level 2 - Fast Track Train the Trainers (1 day)

This 1 day course is for experienced digital media users and covers the essential elements from each of the Units to enable you to implement the Digital Creator qualification effectively with your students. There is some preparatory work that should be uploaded prior to the course. Applications by self-assessment form only.


Courses are available for teachers and tutors with prior experience of digital media and ICT.

Course pricing:

  1. Bullet  1 day course in your school or college (10 persons max.) - £695 per day

  2. Bullet  Delegate rate for attendance at one our training centres     - £145 per person per day



Digital Creator Level 2 - Assessor (1 day):

Learn how to assess student work submitted for the Digital Creator Award and gain Assessor accreditation. The course is hosted by 2 tutors who will validate successful delegates for BCS approval.


Courses are available for teachers and tutors who have previously attended an accredited Digital Cre8or Train The Trainers course.


Course pricing:

Digital Creator - Skills Units
Courses are available for teachers and tutors who would like to acquire the skills necessary to teach Digital Creator at Level 1 and /or Level 2.


Level 1:

Integrating Animation, Video, DVD Units skills - 1 day

Integrating Audio, Images, Internet skills - 1 day


Level 2:

Skills courses cover each of the 8 Digital Creator Level 2 units - 1 day for each
